KICKBALL for Adults....CFT/ACPSOP is looking for 20 individuals who are interested in playing in an adult kickball league this summer. The team will play a six (6) game season. All teams qualify for the post-season tournament. All games are played at Oakley Field (3900 Paxton Ave) on Tuesdays at 6:30, 7:15 or 8:00 pm. The regular season starts on July 2, 2013. If you are interested in playing, contact Tom Frank @ knarfmot@gmail.com by Friday, June 14, 2013 @ 10:00 am.

| Email Difficulties: Every once in a while ISP's "block" certain IP addresses who send out mass emails thinking they are spammers. The cft.acpsop@cft-aft.org IP address has fallen victim to this process. We are currently working with our provider to correct this problem. The ISP's that have been identified so far are hotmail, msn, cinci.rr.com, & aol.com, so if you have email going to either of these addresses, you may not have received any of our recent emails. BR's have been notified. |

Summary of TES Changes for 2012-2013 - On Wednesday September 19th the CPS Board of Education held a special meeting to consider a proposed Teacher Evaluation Policy. This policy had taken on many forms since it first surfaced on August 13th at a Committee of the Whole Board Meeting. After even more revisions during the special meeting, the Board voted to adopt the policy. Although CFT feels the adoption of the policy was premature and that some of the wording within the policy could interfere with the negotiation of our teacher evaluation system when our Collective Bargaining Agreement ends on December 2013, many of our greatest concerns with the policy were addressed.

If you are classified as a substitute (daily or long term) with the Board of Education, you must fill our a green membership card every school year to return to full member status. | District Email - Just a reminder - every email that you send or receive on the district's network is kept on file as a public document for seven years. Please use caution whenever you send an email using GroupWise and never send an email that you would not want published on the front page of the paper. Evenif you delete and email, empty the trash; it is still on the server. Also, if you open your private email account using the district server the district can view your account while it is open. |
